I'm sure I won't see any updates now until probably Monday.hopefully.Ī couple of observations after over 24 hours with the 12-tuner system. I had a feeling my 6-03 order got "flushed". *scratches head again* and it was resubmitted by Tech Support and by the gentlemen that I previously spoke to earlier in the afternoon. After a lengthy check, she said that the 6-03 order was a "Fall Out Order", meaning my order fell through. I asked her to investigate what happened. I asked why am I seeing 6-07 on MyVerizon.she checked further and saw both order dates on her screen.

Called them back and asked what order date do they see, she said 6-03.

Well, I checked 30 mins ago and what do I see?.my order date was changed to 6-07. He told me to continue to check MyVerizon to see if my status updates. He returned and said that the 2nd return box should arrive when I get the VMS boxes, which should be no later than the install date (6-17). He thought for a sec, heard him clicking away on the keyboard, he paused for a bit then asked if he can put me on hold for a few mins. So I asked him why was I only sent 1 return box. I told him to take a look and see how many boxes I currently have on record. It just has not been processed by Tech Support.

Called earlier today to see if there was any update and the gentlemen told me that my order was "green" which indicates there is no problem with my order. Earlier today I received a return kit via USPS but it was only 1 folded box for 1 Fios Box. My gut kept telling me something wasn't right because it seems everyone here that is in VH05 that placed their order about the same time as I did have received either their tracking # and/or their boxes already but I didn't. *Follow up on my order that was placed on 6-03* Still love my fios but am a bit disappointed.Īgain, sorry if I am bringing up old sh%$ I then got a better explanation from tech support. Verizon says that they are feverishly working on a VMS firmware update to fix this issue but what a screw-up! the tech had no idea.made some nfirmed.

I though about putting the VMS boxes at dummy locations with coax and then having only client boxes at each TV but I'm gonna wait. So.by putting a VMS in each of "our" rooms we now cannot watch something recorded in the den on our main room tv because the VMS boxes don't communicate. sometimes she wants us to watch something upstairs together from her dvr. I have the big tv.we watch everything that we both like in my room. My tv room is the family room with a dvr (now VMS) and "her" tv room is downstairs in the den with an additional dvr (now a VMS). Thought I would share my quantum premium experience.installed today. I did not import any settings when activating the VMS and IPC boxes, so maybe this could be another cause. Did you activate them at the same time, or did you activate one first, then the other? I activated them together, and I think that this might be the cause of my problem. Initial impressions are very good however. My VMS boxes don't see each other. (Though there are still a few settings you'll have to tweak no matter what.) I can tell there's a lot of information population happening on both media servers right now, so I'll give it a few hours before measuring speed, responsiveness, etc. Media servers see each other, client sees each media server, all settings imported successfully on the servers and client - including Season Passes and stand alone recordings. Don't think my wife would have appreciated that at 4:00 a.m. Well, I hooked up everything but one of the clients for our bedroom. Took advantage of a losing battle with insomnia to hook it up overnight and it went off without a hitch. Placed my order for the 12-tuner setup for four TVs on Tuesday and despite some order weirdness and miscommunication, everything arrived yesterday afternoon. To those with the "Free DVR for Life" credit, keep playing Customer Service roulette and you might get lucky.
